Michi Labo: the person and the work

I'm Michi, based in Malaysia. I'm an influencer marketing specialist and digital content professional with over ten years of experience. I've worked across social media and brand partnerships in multiple global markets.

Influencer marketing is currently where the majority of my work resides. I manage end-to-end campaigns, from finding the right talent and negotiating deals, to contracts, briefing, to making sure content actually goes live on time. I also work with creators directly as a talent manager, helping them build more professional, better-compensated brand partnerships.

On top of that, I write a lot, including B2C copy, editorials, brand content, and EDMs. Good writing is the thing that ties all of my work together, whether it's a business email or a full script.

Some clients also keep me on for social media management between campaigns. If you'd rather have someone else (human) handle the social media DMs so that you can focus on the business, let's talk.

Everything runs under Michi Labo Consulting. I lead every project personally. Where a campaign calls for specialist knowledge in a specific market or discipline, I work with a trusted network of vetted freelancers who I brief, oversee, and am accountable for. You won't get handed off. You'll always have me as your point of contact.
